Reviews
As a preschool teacher, I would suggest this book be a part of every early learners classroom experience. The potential for the reader to interact with children during the storyteller is sure to excite children and allow them to be part of the story. The counting and directions are a fun way for children to understand numbers and directional words. The book is simple enough that an early reader could read the book with confidence.
My 2 year old loves this book. His favorite part is reading/mimicking the sounds Lily and her lunch makes. ‘Boing, Bzzzz, Crunch’. In addition, the pictures are bright and colorful - this helps keep him engaged. Thanks Lily!🐸
Lily Looks For Her Lunch is a great way to interact with your children while reading to them. My daughters love counting the jumps and saying "BOING" together. They get excited that Lily catches her lunch, and it is reminiscent of the girls playing, eating lunch, and taking a nap (something all parents know is VERY important). 10 out of 10, couldn't recommend this more.
With beautiful graphics and lots of onomatopoeias, this book will draw in younger readers! This book shows children that patience and problem solving are important skills to achieving what you want.
